The ‘Mungaru Male’ heroine Pooja Gandhi is in her first double role in a oft repeated subject in films like ‘Seetha Aur Geetha’, Chaalbaaz in Hindi and ‘Rani Maharani’ in Kannada. She is doing what Hema Malini and Sridevi have done in the past.

The 1991 film ‘Rani Maharani’ with some changes is ‘Naa Raani Nee Maharani’. It was 19 years ago B Ramamurthy directed his second film and he is now 52 films old that too of his own directorial venture.
